Apart from the other stuff I am Lead Web developer for Media Wales in Cardiff (the Trumpet of Truth) and the local technical bod looking after Walesonline and development of various offshoots like the excellent Hyperlocal/UGC/Local news/Blog YourCardiff (enough buzzwords for you) 
I have too many years experience in web development to remember when I started (well readersheds is 10 years old this year, so a few years before that) mainly back-end databases and doing stuff with the data using the wonderful Coldfusion and now the equally great WordPress.
