		<description><![CDATA[The other week myself and Rob ventured to the valleys, well sort of to my home town of Llantrisant to the opening of a pub, the Wheatsheaf. I have not been to that pub for many years or drinking in LLan for a while either, and it was good that someone is giving it a another go. Rob provided the images as my got corrupted but that really summed up the night. To be honest I was going to write up a big review about this good old pub but was very disappointed with it and the beer I wont bother, its a shame as Newmans brewery and Celt Experience produce some great beers but on this occasion the Pure Welsh Ale was not up to starch in my opinion. I may venture back again as the opening night may not be the omen of things to come, but it did not help that I waited 45 mins to get a bus from my village (about 5 miles) away to get there, and Rob travelled all the way from Newport&#8230; oh and the bus on the way home got it&#8217;s window broken going via Beddau which I know is not [...]]]></description>

<p>To be honest I was going to write up a big review about this good old pub but was very disappointed with it and the beer I wont bother, its a shame as <a href="http://www.newmansbrewery.com/">Newmans brewery</a> and <a href="http://www.theceltexperience.co.uk/">Celt Experience</a> produce some great beers but on this occasion the Pure Welsh Ale was not up to starch in my opinion.</p>

		<title>Day 2 of the Wetherspoons Festival &#8211; in 3 parts #spoonsbeer</title>

J.W.Lee&#8217;s Supernova The Galbraiths Mr G&#8217;s Luncheon Ale had the strangest name but was a nice full bodied ale. The Galbraiths Mr G&#8217;s Luncheon Ale The Surprise of the day was this Boss Hogg Bitter from Greene King why can&#8217;t they brew beer like this all the time.. a nice golden ale. Greene King Boss Hogg a few others tasted of note &#8211; the Adnams was overpowered byt the other but would be a good session Pale ale. Adnams Pale Ale Champion was a little dissapointed by the Dambusters Dambusters George&#8217;s Tipple was a bit bitter for me but again on it&#8217;s own would be nice hoppy brew 2009-10-29 13.30.11 Bring on Day 3! This evening I will going to the opening of a new(old) pub the Wheatsheaf in my home village of Llantrisant and will be supping Newmans/Celt ales hopefully the all Wales brew.]]></description>
